From our Mickey’s ears to our princess slippers, let’s break down head to toe the best items to wear to Epcot.

1. Headbands/Hats

Mouse Ears Headband: A staple and classic accessory, there are mouse ear headbands to fit any Epcot outfit! Check out these perfect Figment and Spaceship Earth ears.

Hat: If your head sunburns easily like mine, a hat is a must in the Florida sun. But trading your mouse ears headband for a hat doesn’t mean you have to lose your ears!

You can either order your baseball caps with mouse ears online or turn them into a fun DIY project. These mouse ear hat designs are to die for.

2. Shirts

Tee shirts and tank tops are the perfect go-to for Florida weather. A loose-fitting tank top is great for the heat. I love this Retro Walt Disney World women’s tank!

If you have shirts made of quick-drying athletic material, these can also be great for park days.

3. Pants/Shorts/Skirts

Shorts: My favorite to beat the heat! I am a big fan of jean shorts, and as there aren’t any water rides at Epcot, I don’t have to worry too much about the uncomfortable feeling of wet denim.

However, jeans also don’t do wonders for sweat, so lighter materials can be a better choice for those super hot days.

Pants: I am a serious lover of shorts for long sunny days at Epcot, but light pants will also work wonders for your outfit if you prefer! While loose clothes are great for the heat, I tend to gravitate towards outfits that have either a more snug shirt and looser pants or a more flowy shirt with tighter pants.

That formula helps me stay cool and keep my outfit proportions complimentary.

Skirts: If you want a little extra flair, a skirt with a tucked-in tee is one of my favorite statements.

4. Shoes

Sneakers: While I have yet to find pillowy, comfy glass slippers to dance my way to meet Cinderella, there are plenty of cute, walking-friendly shoes to complete your Epcot outfit. These Walt Disney World Vans are on my Christmas wish list for sure!

Sandals: If your outfit is already design-heavy, you might want to stick to more simple plain-colored shoes to complete your look. Well-made walking sandals will be your best friend! They also help keep your feet cool.

Be sure to choose shoes with ample cushion to make sure bad blisters or achy arches don’t ruin your Epcot fun.

5. Raincoat/Poncho

Always bring a compact rain poncho so your outfit doesn’t get soaked in the sudden rain showers! You can also purchase your rain poncho at Walt Disney World.

If you aren’t sure whether to bring your own or shop the day of, here is a great review of the park ponchos.
